Volunteer Opportunities with Friends Inc.
Since 1998, Friends Inc has provided transportation, friendly visits, errands, and support to people with disabilities, and those who are seriously ill in our community. Many of those we serve are also lonely and isolated, and our volunteers often become an important part of their lives, forming meaningful bonds and genuine friendships.
We are currently looking for caring volunteers to help in the following ways:
- Office assistance (help sorting our community closet)
- Special events (Mailings, Autumn Evening fundraiser)
- Friendly visits to those who are homebound
- Transportation to doctor appointments
- Errands and light assistance for people without family support
