Organs at Nativity

We are blessed at Nativity to have two organs to use for worship, concerts, and recitals. Organ music is central to leading congregational singing during worship at Nativity. On any Sunday our church is filled with glorious sounds of choir, congregation, supported by our Aeolian Skinner organ.

1946 Aeolian-Skinner Organ

The Aeolian-Skinner Organ company was responsible for building many of pipe organs in the United States. Famous Aeolian-Skinner organs include those in Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, CA, Church of St. Mary the Virgin, New York, NY, the Mormon Tabernacle, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, GA. When the organ was installed in 1946, it was a much smaller version of what we have today in the church. With additions by the Milnar Organ company in the early 1990s and digital additions by the Walker Technical Company in the 2010s, the organ has been given many new colors since its inception.
