Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee is a vibrant and enthusiastic part of the Nativity family dedicated to bringing a
Christian justice presence to the community it serves. Our mission finds its groundings in the words of St.
Matthews's Gospel...
"Then shall the king say to them on his right hand, 'Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world; I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you
gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in; naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me;
I was in prison and you came to me ... And the King shall say to them, 'Insomuch as you have done it unto
the least of my brothers and sisters, you
|
have done it unto me.'"

Our direction moves outward to the community and inward to the heart of the Church's calling. We seek to
bridge gaps among all people. The Outreach Committee at the Church of the Nativity hopes to educate and
enliven parishioners' understanding of being the hands and feet of Christ in a broken world. We find it an
honor and encourage other hearts to find the privilege that comes from responding to human need from the
heart of Christian compassion. We are privileged to act on our faith in this way and invite you to join us
in making grace happen through dynamic partnership and action with all God's people and God's creation.
