Education for Ministry – EFM

We live in tumultuous times, and it matters how we respond to the challenges of our life’s journey.  If you would like to begin a voyage of spiritual/intellectual discovery with others who are engaged in the same enterprise, Education for Ministry (EFM) would be a great place to begin.

The EFM program is designed to help Christian lay people prepare for their personal ministries of ‘doing’ and ‘being’.  It helps lay people develop an understanding of their faith through the study of the Bible, Church history and theology and by bringing that material into dialogue with the events of everyday life.  EFM is a four-year course offering an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service.  Students work with a mentor in a small group as they engage in this transforming, life changing study.  Please contact Zara Renander at the Church office for more information.
