Bake Sale
and Bazaar begin at 10:30 a.m.
Delicious homemade cakes,
breads and casseroles available for the Holidays! Fabulous items designed by
local artists!
Luncheon tickets on sale
after the 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. services, at ECW meetings and the annual parish
meeting or call Marilyn Grundy at 533-9546 Tickets are $12 each or $10/
ticket for purchases of 8+ tickets Dine-in seating times at 11:15 a.m. and
12:30 p.m.
Take-out lunches must be ordered
in advance by calling Nancy Crunkleton at 534-1004 or Sara Ahearn at 533-4767. Pick up take-out lunches
between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.
Raffle tickets $1/tickets,
6 tickets for $5 or 12 tickets for $10.
About the ECW Bazaar
The Bazaar is the only
fundraising project undertaken by the Women of the church of the Nativity (ECW). The proceeds are used to fund
the projects and programs of the ECW
and to pay operating expenses throughout the year. A few examples of ECW
projects within the church include: parish events and receptions, funds for
the music department, Altar Guild, Garden Guild, Nursery, and kitchen needs.
Funds for outreach include: Mission Guild, United Thank Offering, Diocesan
pledge, the Rector's Discretionary Fund, and Camp McDowell.
Thanks to past successful bazaars, ECW has been able to reach out into the
community to help build a new women and children's shelter and provide snacks
for needy children in an after-school program. This is your opportunity to
help make a difference in our church and the community. We hope all the women of the church will
participate in the Bazaar, and we especially welcome those of you who are new
to Nativity or have never participated before.
How You Can Help
Donate a personal specialty
to the bake sale (call Lane Tutt at 539-1496 or Pride Sherrill at 308-2483). Attend the Bazaar and Bake Sale, where you may purchase food for
the holidays or a craft item for holiday decorating! Dine at the luncheon and
bring your friends, too! You could even host your own private luncheon by
ordering take-out lunches!
